Job Description: Tax Strategy Manager | Build & Lead a New Tax Division | Middle Tennessee $165K–$200K base + 15–20% target bonus (about $190K–$240K total target comp) | First-year bonus protection | Relocation available Most tax leaders inherit a department. This one gets to build one. We're partnering with a fast-growing financial planning firm in Middle Tennessee to hire its first Tax Strategy Manager. This is a new leadership seat on a four-person executive team. You'll own the vision, the infrastructure, and the growth of a tax division built entirely around proactive planning, not compliance. Your work centers on high-level tax planning alongside the firm's financial advisors. You won't be running a return-prep mill. ? Upside tied to what you build. Your bonus grows with department profitability, operational efficiency, and tax planning revenue. ? Protection while you build. The division starts with no existing book of business, so a guaranteed or partially guaranteed first-year bonus is available. ? Flexibility. The role is hybrid outside of tax season, and relocation support is available for out-of-state candidates.
