Senior Accountant

Responsibilities: Provide daily guidance and review support to junior accounting staff and serve as backup for the Controller. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet roll-forwards, and financial statements. Oversee standard costing, job costing, WIP accounting, cycle counts, and variance analysis (labor, scrap, overhead, and margins) in partnership with plant leadership. Maintain audit-ready documentation, enforce internal controls/SOPs, and assist external auditors and tax advisors with schedules and compliance requests. Support ERP implementation and data clean-up while identifying opportunities to automate and standardize processes across locations. Assist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, fixed assets, operational KPIs, and ad hoc analysis for executive leadership.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including responsibility for close, reconciliations, and financial reporting Prior manufacturing accounting experience with inventory, job costing, or work-in-process accounting Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, internal controls, and financial reporting Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner at all levels Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion
