Manufacturing Technician 1 - San Diego, CA3 month contract-to-hire, ~$27/hr BOEPosition is for an aerospace/defense client. United States citizenship is required. Aerospace/defense client is looking for a Manufacturing Technician 1 to support their team. This position will be on-site at Miramar San Diego.
Responsibilities:
- Support the assembly of various composite and metallic components. Read and comprehend Manufacturing Work Instructions and internal specifications. Follow both written and verbal directions. Good time management and a team player
- Basic Qualifications for Manufacturing Technician 1High School diploma or equivalent and zero years of experience
- Attention to detail
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal directions
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Products and able to learn how to operate various software systems (Costpoint CP and MES)
- Preferred Qualifications for Manufacturing Technician 1Mechanically inclined
- Familiar with composite and metallic details
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
