Champion Personnel is hiring an experienced Die Setter for a well-established metal stamping manufacturer serving OEM and Tier 1 automotive suppliers since 1986. Location: Cleveland, OH (East Side)?
Pay: Starting at $25 to $28/hour?
Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PMOvertime available on Fridays (½ day)
Direct Hire Position
What You'll Do:
- Set up and change over progressive dies on stamping presses
- Remove and install dies while ensuring proper alignment
- Adjust feed mechanisms and press settings
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Troubleshoot stamping equipment during production
- Complete setup documentation and production paperwork
- Ensure parts meet quality specifications before full production begins
What We're Looking For:
- Previous die setting experience in a metal stamping environment
- Experience with progressive dies and stamping presses
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Steel-toe boots required
