Job Description:
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and scripts.
- Create defect reports and follow through to resolution.
- Timely identification of severity of system issues and effectively communicates adequate priority level and impact to appropriate parties.
- Status reporting
- Ensure software and hardware solutions meet customer requirements for usability and functionality.
- Ability to run Automated tests
- Manage QE tasks from QE handoff through testing and deployment to production.
- Define and implement test metrics to determine coverage and effectiveness.
- Diagnose and document advanced application issues received from customer.
- Apply industry best practices of standard testing methodologies and shares them with the team.
- Travel may be required to provide professional services and support customer activities.
Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen and be able to pass the highest level security clearance 5+ years of relevant work experience in software Quality Engineering.
- Experience with JIRA and HP QC is a must
- Understanding Client/Server Application as well as Web Application testing.
- Ability to design, create and maintain automated testing suites.
- Understanding development environment and lifecycle.
- Ability to learn and understand complex design systems. Strong logic and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of Retail domain is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organization skills. Demonstrated testing skills utilizing a wide range of tools, techniques, and standards.
- Knowledge of operating systems, system architecture, databases, and file systems. Ability to set goals, and achieve scheduled deadlines.
- Ability to troubleshoot and isolate issues.
