Our client, a $200M private-equity owned industrial services company, is a seeking a Regional Controller to oversee the region’s accounting and also play a key role in integrating new acquisitions. This is a fully remote position with very occasional travel.
Responsibilities: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for the region. Oversee preparation and review of GAAP financial statements, account reconciliations, journal entries, and close workpapers for corporate consolidation. Provide accounting oversight for key areas including revenue recognition, inventory, accruals, fixed assets, reserves, and other significant balance sheet accounts. Ensure consistent application of accounting policies and EBITDA add-back classifications across East Hub brands. Work with external auditors for the annual audit, overseeing internal controls and PBC schedules. Oversee state and local tax compliance, including sales and use tax, business licenses, personal property, gross receipts, and other applicable filings and obligations. Lead the accounting and finance integration of new acquisitions and serve as the finance lead for ERP implementations. Manage a small staff and continue to build a team as the company grows..
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Public accounting experience is a MUSTActive CPA license 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Experience leading a multi-entity or multi-site organization
  • Private equity experience is a plus
  • Experience with ERP implementations, migrations, or system conversions; Acumatica experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively partner with both operational and corporate stakeholders.
