Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR)
Location: Live Oak, TXAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Shift: 0630-1700 with call rotation from 11 PM-7 AM, including 1-2 rotating weekend call shifts.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will possess strong OR circulator experience and be willing to participate in a call rotation schedule.
Responsibilities:
Providing high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room.
Assisting with various surgical procedures including orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, and more.
Maintaining patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participating in rotating call schedule and weekend shifts as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Must have current BLS and ACLS certifications.
OR circulator experience is required.
Ability to fulfill rotating call responsibilities (one night per week minimum, one weekend every five-week schedule minimum).Preferred experience in any combination of orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, or thoracic procedures.
