Private Funds Associate Attorney - Midlevel

We are seeking a private investment funds associate to join the firm’s Finance, Regulatory & Investment Funds (Global) group in the New York office. Experience in the following areas is desired: (1) Structuring and formation of private equity funds, venture capital funds or hedge funds, including drafting of fund documents (2) Negotiation with limited partners on behalf of fund sponsors (3) Review of subscription documents (4) Representation of private or institutional investors in their investments into private investment funds (5) Structuring general partner and management companies (6) Working knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 Candidates should have solid academic credentials and 3 to 5 years of experience.
