Client is looking for a Procurement Category Manager to help drive smarter supplier decisions, stronger contracts, and measurable cost savings.
What You’ll Do:
Manage IT/Engineering vendor categories and strategic supplier relationships Lead RFP/RFx, market research, competitive bidding, and sourcing initiatives Negotiate vendor contracts and collaborate with Legal and business stakeholders Identify and implement cost savings and cost-avoidance opportunities Monitor vendor SLAs, spend, performance, QBRs/MBRs, escalations, and compliance
What You Bring:
6+ years of sourcing and procurement experience Experience with IT/Technology vendor management Strong contract negotiation and contract drafting experience Proven success driving cost savings, cost avoidance, and spend optimization Bachelor’s degree preferred; procurement software experience such as ZIP is a plus
