1Your RoleAs an MRI Technologist, you'll be responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations while maintaining exceptional patient safety and imaging standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Verify patient identity, exam orders, and clinical information.
Prepare patients for MRI examinations and provide clear procedure instructions.
Perform MRI studies according to established protocols.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and patient positioning.
Select appropriate scanning techniques and protocols in coordination with the radiologist.
Operate MRI scanners and related imaging systems effectively.
Review and evaluate images for quality and completeness.
View, transfer, archive, and manipulate electronic images.
Administer IV contrast when ordered and under appropriate physician/radiologist supervision.
Follow MRI safety policies and the Four-Zone MRI safety concept.
Demonstrate knowledge of magnet safety, cryogens, gradient systems, and MRI hardware/software.
Understand appropriate emergency procedures, including MRI quench procedures.
Follow infection-control and sterile-technique requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation, time stamps, image storage, consents, and procedure information.
Support quality-control processes and applicable ACR requirements.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and report failures appropriately.
Provide a safe, comfortable, and professional experience for patients and families.
What We're Looking For:
Strongly preferred:1–2 years of MRI Technologist experienceHospital-based MRI experience6–12 months of acute-care experienceExperience in a Level II Trauma Center environment Candidates should be comfortable working independently, prioritizing patient safety, and adapting to a fast-paced hospital imaging environment.
Required Qualifications:
