Apply for this role →To support a rapidly expanding travel fintech and SaaS company, the full-time Finance & Accounting Lead will manage the restructuring of the P&L, set revenue recognition policies, and oversee the month-end close process in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
Restructure the P&L to accurately reflect business operations and unit economics
Establish and implement revenue recognition policies across all business verticals
Oversee the month-end close process and manage financial burn categorization
Required qualifications:
Extensive accounting expertise with experience in technical accounting and revenue recognition
Experience as an early accounting hire, responsible for building financial functions from the ground up
Proficient in payments and marketplace accounting, including managing held funds and chargebacks
Ability to write requirements for engineering teams regarding accounting needs
Demonstrated ownership of month-end close processes and financial reporting
