About the Cook Role: As a Nursing Home Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your attention to detail, culinary skills, and ability to work effectively in a team will ensure that every meal meets our high standards of quality and taste. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and cooking meals according to recipe and menu requirementsMaintaining a clean and organized kitchen environmentAssisting with tray service and plating of mealsEnsuring that all food is served promptly and to the residents' satisfactionCollaborating with dietary team to plan and prepare special diets and mealsMaintaining accurate records of food preparation and inventoryCook Requirements: Prior experience as a Nursing Home Cook or in a similar role preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced kitchen environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructionsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to lift, push, and pull food carts and supplies (up to 50 pounds)
