We’re seeking someone who has top-notch logistics and computer skills, as well as an inherent desire to create handcrafted trips of a lifetime for our guests. (Not required, but bonus points for you and us if you have lived abroad or have solid travel experience.)  Roles & Responsibilities:  Daily contact with guides, hoteliers, transportation companies, and others with whom we interact to run our tours in 50 countries around the world. Researching ways to improve/add value to our tours and guest experience.  Building strong relationships with our colleagues abroad.  Maintaining up-to-date information on all tour-related expenses in Excel as well as our company software system. Collaborating with Sales, Guest Services, Marketing, and other members of our team. Skills and Experience: The assets you need to be a Tour Operations Coordinator:  Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 2+ years of experience in event planning, operations, or a related field  Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills  Proven ability to work under/meet tight deadlines Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills  Experience in building/following budgets Superior written and oral communication skills  Knowledge of the luxury travel sector is beneficial Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook  Salesforce experience is a plus Enjoy independently managing assigned tour regions and working as part of a larger team Love of all things travel.  This role does not require any foreign language ability to succeed, but if you have foreign language ability, you will have the opportunity to utilize it  Wages & Benefits: $25/hr. + excellent benefits  Our generous benefits package includes: Medical Insurance  Dental Insurance Vision Insurance  401K + 30% company match (up to $2400/year) Optum Employee Assistance Program  Paid Holidays PTO (112 hours per year)  Travel Benefits and Discounts At Classic Journeys, we simply could not do our work without the diverse kaleidoscope of humanity that creates and delivers our remarkable offerings across the planet.
