Remote Pharmaceutical Research Scientist

Key Responsibilities: Design, conduct, and optimize in vitro and in vivo experiments to evaluate novel therapeutic agents. Analyze experimental data using advanced statistical and bioinformatics tools, and interpret results to guide future research directions. Prepare detailed research reports, scientific manuscripts for publication, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, and toxicology, via virtual communication channels. Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in the relevant therapeutic areas. Contribute to the intellectual property strategy through patent filings and internal innovation disclosures.

Requirements: Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field. Proven track record of successful research in drug discovery, evidenced by publications and presentations. Extensive experience with relevant experimental techniques (e.g., cell-based assays, molecular biology techniques, animal models). Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently in a remote setting. Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills. Proficiency in data analysis software and electronic lab notebooks.
