Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: - Three (3) years of experience performing complex OB/GYN or vascular scans. Required Credentials: - Completion of a twelve (12) month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography / General Ultrasound or equivalent certificate program is required. - Must be American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered in OB / OB GYN. Preferred Credentials: - Fetal Echocardiography (FE). Unit Details: - Maternal-fetal ultrasound role assisting the radiologist/supervising physician with invasive diagnostic techniques and procedures. - Provides standardization and training to residents regarding these exams. - Performs maternal-fetal ultrasound examinations including detailed anatomical evaluation, complete fetal echocardiogram, growth assessment, fetal wellbeing (including biophysical profiles, maternal/fetal Doppler, amniotic fluid assessments), needle procedure guidance, examinations of maternal pelvic anatomy (including transvaginal cervical assessment), and advanced diagnostic 3D/4D techniques. - Records anatomical, pathological, and physiological data, obtains Doppler signals and Doppler shift recordings, and advises the radiologist and/or referring OB provider of exam results and preliminary diagnostic evaluation. Shift & Scheduling: - 4x 9 hr shifts and 1 x 4 hr shift (1/2-day Friday). - Every other weekend. - Every other holiday. - No call.
