Position Summary: The New Construction Manager/Foreman is responsible for leading new constructionprojects from initial planning through final delivery. This position oversees the safe, efficient, and high-quality completion of construction projects while maintainingschedules, budgets, personnel, vendors, and overall project requirements. The New Construction Manager/Foreman will establish and implement effectiveconstruction processes, coordinate project personnel and contractors, monitor projectprogress, and identify and resolve potential issues throughout the construction process. The ideal candidate will have strong construction or industrial experience, excellentproblem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment. Key Responsibilities Lead new construction projects through completion and delivery. Oversee safety, quality, schedules, budgets, personnel, vendors, and overallproject execution. Develop and implement effective construction processes and procedures. Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, withinbudget, and in accordance with specifications and client requirements. Coordinate and oversee construction activities including welding, fabrication, machinery installation, electrical work, auxiliary systems, outfitting, commissioning, testing, and delivery. Identify, address, and resolve construction issues, delays, quality concerns, andother potential problems. Supervise and coordinate project personnel, contractors, vendors, and other thirdparties. Track project budgets, labor hours, purchasing, materials, equipment, and vendorperformance. Coordinate with shipyards, engineers, inspectors, vendors, and other projectstakeholders as required. Ensure work is performed in accordance with applicable safety, quality, regulatory, and industry requirements. Assist with inspections, testing, commissioning, sea trials, and final projectdelivery. Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, purchasing records, andcost information. Participate in multiple and varied fabrication, production, construction, shipyard, or engineering-related assignments as directed. Travel periodically to oversee construction activities or supervise work aboardvessels and at other project locations. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the President. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, shipbuilding, ship repair, industrial, manufacturing, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of supervisory, foreman, project management, or crewleadership experience. Strong experience with construction, fabrication, steel work, equipmentinstallation, or related industrial activities. Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, personnel, materials, vendors, andproject priorities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Strong understanding of workplace safety and compliance requirements. Ability to read and understand construction plans, specifications, and technicaldocumentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to learn and utilize the Company's job-costing and purchasing softwarefollowing training. Preferred Qualifications Experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, marine construction, or vessel newconstruction. Experience working with shipyards, contractors, engineers, or classificationsocieties. Familiarity with ABS, Lloyd's, DNV, BV, or other marine regulatory/classificationrequirements. Welding, fabrication, machinery installation, electrical, or mechanical experience. Experience with commissioning, testing, sea trials, or project delivery. Previous experience working aboard commercial vessels or in a marineenvironment.
