Medical Front Office Specialist

Salary Range: $18.50 To $20.00 Hourly Our Dermatology Front Office Specialisthelps ensure the clinic runs smoothly, stays on schedule, and delivers welcoming experience for patients.

Schedule: Monday through Friday

What you'll do: Schedule patients for new/returning/follow-up appointments and provide all necessary information to prepare them for medical appointments and procedures. Insurance verification with carriers and patients. Check patients in and ensure all paperwork and documentation is properly completed. Collects patient payments upon checkout working with back-office staff to ensure correct amount. Verifies authorizations and accepts or transmits fax information for needed physician patient information. Organize and communicate with insurance companies for authorizations for therapies, testing and specialist referrals.

Skills and Experience: Medical front office or patient service experience is highly preferred Experience with insurance is highly preferred EMR (EzDerm) experience helpful Medical (as low as $68/month), Dental, and Vision Insurance Vacation, Sick, and Holiday paid time off 401k with Company Match In support of our mission statement, "Healthier Practices, Healthier Patients," we have a Tobacco Free Environment.
