The role will support sophisticated high-net-worth individuals, families and closely held entities, combining complex compliance, tax planning, client advisory and team leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client professional who wants senior client ownership without necessarily needing to arrive with a portable book of business.
The opportunity:
Act as a primary advisor to HNW individuals and families Lead complex individual and private-client tax engagements Review advanced individual, fiduciary and partnership returns Advise across trusts, estates, pass-through entities and tax planning Work alongside attorneys, wealth managers and family-office professionals Lead and develop Managers and Senior Managers Support Partners with key client relationships Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships Contribute to technical training and practice development What they are looking for 12+ years of public accounting experienceCPA, EA or Law License Strong HNW/private-client tax background Significant 1040, trust, estate and partnership experience Strong review capability Experience leading teams Confident client-facing advisory skills
Location: New York, NY – Hybrid
Compensation:
$200K–$350K depending on experience Strong fit for an established Senior Tax Manager or Tax Director specialising in HNW and Private Client tax who is ready for broader leadership responsibility.
