We are seeking experienced freelance interpreters in the Philadelphia area to support assignments between English and French, with experience interpreting French as spoken in West Africa. Qualifications p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0">Professional fluency in French and English. p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0">Prior professional interpreting experience required. p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0">Familiarity with French as spoken in West Africa, including regional vocabulary, accents, and cultural nuances. p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0">Reliable transportation and availability for assignments throughout the Philadelphia area. Preferred qualifications p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0">Completion of a professional interpreter training program. p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0">Relevant interpreting certifications. p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0">Experience interpreting for individuals from French-speaking West African communities. p):pt-0 (&>p):mb-2 (&>p):my-0">Experience providing in-person interpretation across a variety of professional or community settings.
