VETERAN VOLUNTEER NEEDED FOR HOSPICE

Elara Caring, one of the nation's largest providers of home-based and hospice care, islooking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptionalend-of-life companionship to local hospice patients and their families. We are officially accepting in-person VETERAN volunteers! This includes: Assist in replacing lost medals Assist Veterans in life review and life history Regular visits for socialization Education / Assistance with Veteran benefits Call or visit Veterans on Veterans DayVisit Veterans in their homes, nursing facilities, assisted living facilities orhospitals Veteran volunteers might consider wearing their uniform and take part in aVeteran Pinning ceremony And providing emotional support for a VETERAN as they navigate hospice care Elara Caring Thanks you for your service and all that you have done for ourcountry. Hours are very flexible! You can choose from weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Typically, we ask you to donate an hour of your time once a week. The onboarding process includes a background check, and TB test to maintaincompliance with the TEXAS Department of Public Health.
