Pay Rate:
$23.00/hour Schedule: PRN / As-Needed (Up to 40 hours per week) Shifts range from 4-12 hours Locations: Dallas Metro and Surrounding: Arlington, Coppell, Denton, Flower Mound, Forney, Fort Worth, Frisco, Highland Park, Irving, Mansfield, McKinney, Mesquite, Plano, Prosper, Waxahachie
About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide companion care for pediatric and adult clients (ages 3 months to 99 years) in private home settings. This role centers around delivering personalized support for daily living, fostering emotional well-being, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. CNAs must be comfortable around pets (cats and dogs), as care is provided in family homes. A calm, patient, and friendly demeanor-especially with children and animals-is key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Companionship & Personal CareEngage and supervise pediatric clients
- Assist with daily living activities
- Offer emotional support and companionship
- Provide care to clients of all ages when needed
- Household Support
- Follow individualized care plans and household guidelines
- Maintain a safe, clean environment
- Prepare light meals or snacks when required
Requirements:
- Certifications (Must be Current & Valid)
- American Heart Association (AHA) CPRFirst Aid CertificationCNA License - State of TexasClean criminal background and able to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen.
- Health DocumentationTB Skin Test or Chest X-ray
- Immunization records or positive titers for:
- Hepatitis BMMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
- Tdap (within the past 10 years)
Experience
Minimum of 2 years providing direct care in one or more of the following settings:
Acute Care
PediatricsLong-Term Care (LTC)
Home Health
Experience with a diverse patient population including infants, children, adults, and geriatric clients
