American Water seeks a Lead, Government Affairs to develop and manage a comprehensive state government affairs program, advancing the company’s business plan and state objectives. You will guide policy narratives, bill drafting, and regulatory engagement, shaping advocacy across the Virginia footprint. You will build relationships with elected officials, testify when needed, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure aligned public affairs efforts, including PAC governance and outreach.
