Overview:
Arbor Works is a nationwide leader in vegetation management, recognized for its strong safety culture, operational excellence, and commitment to professional growth. We are currently hiring a Regional Account Manager to drive business development and manage key client relationships across an assigned territory. This role blends sales, estimating, and operational collaboration to support utility vegetation management projects from pursuit through execution. This is an ideal role for a relationship-driven professional with utility line clearance experience who thrives in a fast-paced, field-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new utility vegetation management opportunities Build and maintain relationships with utility, municipal, state, and federal clients Conduct client outreach via calls, meetings, site visits, and industry events Review RFPs, maps, and specifications to assess scope, risk, and opportunity Perform job walks and develop cost models, crew structures, and production assumptions Support pricing and bid development (T&M, unit price, fixed price, negotiated bids)Partner with Business Development, Sales, and Operations teams throughout the bid process Participate in internal estimate reviews and proposal preparation Maintain organized bid documentation and support change order pricing as needed Qualifications 5+ years of experience in vegetation management, construction, or utility line clearance Strong understanding of field operations and estimating processes Ability to read and interpret maps and technical specifications Strong analytical, math, and cost-modeling skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point Ability to work independently and cross-functionally Willingness to travel regularly within assigned region Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Preferred (Not Required):ISA Certified Arborist Certified Tree Safety Professional (CTSP)Experience with tree inventory software Experience in Emergency Response and Federal & State Contracts
Work Environment:
Regional travel required, up to 75%Combination of field and office work Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel regularly Reasonable accommodations available
