Surgeon Advisory Board Member

Job Summary: Nova Nav is seeking experienced surgeons across multiple specialties to join our Advisory Board and provide strategic guidance on surgical workflows, patient engagement, digital health adoption, and the evolving needs of healthcare providers. We are particularly interested in surgeons who bring leadership, ownership, entrepreneurial, advisory, or healthcare technology experience in addition to their clinical background.

Key Responsibilities: Provide Clinical and Industry Expertise: Share perspective on surgical workflows, perioperative care, patient recovery, and operational challenges facing practices, ASCs, and health systems. Support Product Development: Provide feedback on patient engagement, workflow automation, outcomes measurement, and how Nova Nav can better support surgical teams. Guide Healthcare Adoption: Advise on how hospitals, practices, and ASCs evaluate and implement new healthcare technology. Support Strategic Growth: Provide insight into market opportunities, partnerships, and relevant industry relationships where appropriate. Shape Strategic Direction: Advise Nova Nav on emerging trends in surgical care, digital health, value-based care, and patient recovery. As an Advisory Board Member, You Will: Help shape Nova Nav's product and strategic direction. Advise on improving the patient experience before and after surgery. Provide perspective on reducing administrative burden for surgical and clinical teams. Support Nova Nav's expansion across practices, ASCs, hospitals, and health systems. Collaborate with healthcare executives, physicians, entrepreneurs, and technology leaders. Ideal Background We are looking for surgeons with:10+ years of clinical experience. Leadership experience within a surgical practice, hospital, health system, or ambulatory surgical center. Experience as a practice owner, ASC owner or partner, medical director, department leader, founder, advisor, or healthcare entrepreneur is highly valued. Experience working with healthcare startups, digital health companies, medical technology companies, or other early-stage businesses is preferred. Familiarity with patient engagement, perioperative workflows, outcomes measurement, value-based care, or healthcare technology adoption.
