Cloud Engineer
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including virtual networks, compute, storage, and PaaS services. Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Implement and enforce cloud security, identity, and governance best practices, including Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Policy, Key Vault, and network security controls. Monitor performance, cost, and reliability with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, troubleshoot incidents, and continuously optimize the environment while partnering with development, security, and operations teams.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering, including at least 3 years of hands-on work designing and supporting production workloads in Azure. Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and scripting (Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python), plus experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, AKS).Solid understanding of networking (VNets, VPN/ExpressRoute, DNS, load balancing), identity management, and hybrid cloud connectivity. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) are strongly preferred.
