Structural Project Engineer

Your Role: As a Project Engineer, you will have direct involvement throughout the full lifecycle of structural restoration and building-envelope projects. Project Management & Client Relations Manage projects from initial evaluation through construction. Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, consultants, and internal team members while maintaining project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations. Projects may include concrete restoration, structural repairs, renovations, alterations, waterproofing, building-envelope repairs, and other construction-related work. Inspections & Engineering Evaluations Perform field inspections and evaluations of structural components and building-envelope systems. Investigate existing conditions, deterioration, moisture intrusion, and other building deficiencies; document findings; develop repair recommendations; and prepare engineering reports. Construction Administration & Special Inspections Observe ongoing construction, evaluate compliance with permitted documents and project specifications, review contractor submittals and RFIs, participate in project meetings, and perform required special inspections. Engineering Research & Analysis Research applicable building codes, technical standards, manufacturer requirements, repair systems, and industry best practices to develop practical and technically sound engineering solutions. Construction Documents & Specifications Prepare and coordinate repair drawings, technical specifications, RFPs, bid packages, permit documents, and other construction documents with an emphasis on clarity, constructability, and quality.

What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline Approximately 3+ years of relevant engineering experience, preferably involving structural restoration, concrete repair, building-envelope consulting, construction, or related work Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and other consultants Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Desire to continuously develop technically and professionallyEIT certification preferred Florida P.E. license or path toward licensure is a plus Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants ownership and growth, not simply another engineering position. Competitive Compensation & Benefits: Compensation ranges from $75,000 to $120,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and technical capabilities.
