Role Description:
The Elementary School Teacher is a full-time, on-site role located in Gainesville, FL. This educator designs and delivers daily instruction in core subject areas, using developmentally appropriate practices aligned with state standards and school curricula. Responsibilities include planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress, providing differentiated support, and maintaining accurate student records. The teacher collaborates with colleagues and families, participates in staff meetings and professional development, and supports school events and activities. Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that fosters student engagement, social-emotional growth, and a love of learning is central to this role.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated skills in Teaching and Elementary Education, with the ability to support diverse learning styles.
Experience with Curriculum Development and Education practices, including lesson planning and assessment.
Strong Communication skills for working effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
Relevant state teaching certification or eligibility for certification in elementary education.
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
Commitment to creating an inclusive classroom that respects and supports all learners.
Ability to use classroom technology and instructional resources to enhance learning.
