About the Role:
The Company is seeking an Associate Chief of Endocrinology to join their esteemed pediatric endocrinology program. The successful candidate will serve as a senior physician leader, working in close partnership with the Division Chief to provide strategic, clinical, academic, research, and operational leadership. This role involves a strong commitment to world-class care, including the provision of clinical services, oversight of the medical care team, and active participation in family-centered care. The Associate Chief will also be responsible for the division's advocacy, research, and education initiatives, and must demonstrate a personal commitment to continuing medical education and remain current in their subspecialty. Applicants for the Associate Chief position must hold a medical degree from an accredited medical school and be fully licensed and credentialed as a physician. Board certification in the primary practice specialty is required, with board certification in a relevant secondary specialty preferred. The role demands a candidate with a deep knowledge of medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in the area of expertise, as well as the ability to function independently and supervise clinical professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scholarly contributions, including research, and a strong commitment to quality and compliance in medical practice. The position also requires the ability to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and support growth initiatives that enhance the division's impact.
