Sacramento Hydrology Research & Forecast Ops Lead

UC San Diego collaborates with the CA Department of Water Resources and CW3E to advance hydrologic forecasting and forecast-informed reservoir operations. The role focuses on learning and applying ensemble forecast techniques and communicating results to state and federal partners. Ideal candidates will have strong research background in land surface hydrology, HPC experience, and proven ability to present probabilistic forecasts clearly to broad audiences.
