Currently, we have a WIRE SPECIALIST opportunity with a Bank, downtown Los Angeles, with a strong focus on commercial banking and specialized industries. This is an opportunity to learn in a Bank that concentrates on sophisticated commercial client and industries. The WIRE SPECIALIST isresponsible for the specific duties listed below. Your specific duties will include: Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers. Verify wire instructions, account information, signatures, and required approvals. Review transactions for accuracy and compliance with bank policies and procedures. Respond to customer and branch inquiries regarding wire transfers. Research and resolve wire-related discrepancies and exceptions. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all wire transactions. Follow established procedures related to BSA/AML, OFAC, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance. Communicate with other financial institutions as needed to research or resolve wire issues. Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive customer and account information. Provide professional and timely customer service. Perform other banking and operational duties as assigned. Required qualifications for the position include: 1+ year of banking experience, preferably in wire operations, banking operations, or transaction processing. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of domestic and/or international wire transfers preferred. Basic understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential financial information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel, preferred. Preferred qualifications for the position include: The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced banking environment where accuracy, security, and customer service are critical. Experience with wire processing, payment operations, or other high-volume banking transactions is highly desirable.
