Assistant Professor of Mathematics - Statistics or Data Science

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at San José State University invites applications for an open rank tenure/tenure-track faculty position in Statistics/Data Science to begin in Fall 2027. We seek applicants with evidence of excellence in teaching at the university level, outstanding research potential, and a commitment to department service. All applicants are required to have a doctoral degree in statistics, data science or closely related field by time of appointment.
