Per Diem Medical Physicist, Radiation Oncology

Stony Brook Medicine is seeking a Medical Physicist to provide clinical services to our radiation oncology patients on a per diem basis at Stony Brook, NY. The role includes calibration and maintenance of equipment, treatment planning, and involvement in SBRT/SRS and IGRT procedures. Strong communication and ABR Part One are required, with CAMPEP-approved degrees. Preferred candidates will have NY license, Varian experience, and the ability to develop and implement new procedures while educating
