Position Overview:
The Tax Manager will oversee client engagements, manage and mentor staff, serve as a trusted advisor to clients, and ensure tax projects are completed accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple tax engagements and client relationships
- Review complex business and individual tax returns
- Lead and mentor tax staff
- Manage engagement budgets, workflow, and deadlines
- Serve as a key advisor to clients on tax matters
- Assist with business development and practice growth initiatives
- Ensure compliance with firm and regulatory standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA required 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Experience serving privately held businesses and individual clients
