Apply for this role →Consilio’s Direct Hire Recruiting Team is partnering with a globally recognized Am Law 100 firm to identify an Assistant Controller to join their DC office.
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Salary:
$140,000–$160,000, depending on experience This leadership role will partner closely with the Controller and oversee key accounting functions, including:
- Financial reporting and general ledger oversight
- Month-end and year-end close
- Audit and tax coordination
- Budgeting and forecasting support
- Internal controls and compliance
- Team management and development
- Process improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of accounting experience, 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Law firm experience strongly preferred, professional services background considered
- CPA strongly preferred
