Job Description
Real Estate Investment Associate Overview:
- The Real Estate Investment Associate will collaborate with senior team members on evaluating and executing investment opportunities.
- Develop financial models and conduct underwriting for potential real estate acquisitions and investments.
- Perform detailed research and due diligence on prospective opportunities, including financial and organizational analysis.
- Assist in asset management tasks, including business plan development and execution strategies.
- Prepare concise written presentations for investment committees and stakeholders.
- Engage in market assessments and provide actionable recommendations based on findings.
- Participate in special projects such as refinancing opportunities and sector-specific initiatives.
- Interact with joint venture partners and third-party service providers to manage relationships effectively.
- Travel domestically to visit real estate assets and partners as required.
- Real Estate Investment Associate Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Collaborate with senior team members on investment analysis and acquisition strategies.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models for investment evaluation.
- Conduct due diligence, including reviewing legal documentation and analyzing past performance. Prepare property business plans, operating budgets, and capital strategies.
- Manage lease approval processes and provide recommendations for variances.
- Attend development meetings and review renovation project plans and budgets.
- Perform property and portfolio valuations for investor reporting.

Real Estate Investment Associate Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, finance, or a related field.3-4 years of relevant real estate experience required.
Proficiency in real estate financial modeling and quantitative analysis.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, for effective presentations.
Ability to manage complex tasks independently with minimal supervision.
Experience with asset management, including business plan execution and strategy development.
Technical proficiency in computer applications relevant to real estate analysis.
Willingness to travel domestically for asset visits and partner engagements.
Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and investment opportunities.
