Registered Behavior Technician - Plano, TX

Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred. Valid Texas teaching certification with SPED endorsements. Background in special education, school counseling, social work, psychology, or a related discipline. Professional experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), BCBA, counselor, or behavior specialist is highly valued. Skilled in developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).Capable of conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).Strong understanding of ARD, IEP, RTI, and 504 meeting processes. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities: Design, implement, and monitor effective behavioral interventions for students. Facilitate the development and continuous review of individualized Behavior Intervention Plans. Conduct thorough Functional Behavior Assessments to guide intervention as an active member in ARD, IEP, RTI, and 504 meetings to support student goals. Provide on-site classroom support, mentoring, and direct behavioral interventions as needed. Assist teachers and staff with strategies for managing challenging behaviors and conducting crisis interventions. This is a full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week), with pay starting at $30 or more per hour, depending on your experience.
