Must-Haves 10+ years of technical experience in industrial or manufacturing environmentsBS in Optics, Engineering, or a technical discipline (or equivalent experience)Proven cross-functional leadership in a matrixed manufacturing environment Experience with capacity planning, forecasting, annual planning, and KPI development Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical quality toolsISO 9001 experience in manufacturing Problem-solving with 8D, A3, and DMAICMinitab, JMP, or similar statistical software Change-management experience driving real adoptionU.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (ITAR/EAR role)Lean Six Sigma Green Belt within 18 months of hire
What You'll Do:
Lead all plant operations, including staffing, budgets, inventory, quality, and On-Time Delivery Support the VP of Operations on long-range planning, forecasts, and KPI reporting Set factory policies, goals, and procedures Coach and develop managers and supervisors Partner with Sales to bring new products and capabilities into the facility Own the Continuous Improvement and 6S programs Turn operational and financial data into clear action plans Lead high-level quality discussions with key customers Qualify and audit new suppliers with Supply Chain Champion a strong safety culture and OSHA compliance Nice-to-Haves Optical coatings or optical fabrication experienceERP/MES experience (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar)Power BI or Tableau reporting Knowledge of Military Specifications Testing and inspection methods and equipment Compensation and Benefits$120,000 to $160,000 base salary Relocation to Clearwater, FL provided Medical, dental, and vision 401(k) with 3% match Generous PTO and paid parental leave Tuition, daycare, and gym reimbursement Life, AD&D, and disability coverage
