Golf Shop Attendant / Summer Intern

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Daily interaction with members, guests and staff Provide on floor sales assistance for members and guests Help create effective communication and marketing for Golf Shop to Club members Facilitate and coordinate merchandise/gifts for special events Merchandise all clothing on shop floor Attend to the shop in a manner consistent with expectations from the clubINCIDENTAL DUTIES:The above list of essential job functions describes the general nature and level of work being performed in this job. Education and Experience: Previous experience in the Golf Industry – a plus Bachelors Degree Preferred Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: Computer literacy Basic Bookkeeping Language and

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous way with members and staff Strong Interpersonal skills Physical, sensory and motor demands: Ability to be on feet for up to 8 hours per day Ability to lift merchandise boxes (up to 10 lbs)
