Bilingual Japanese/English Credit Associate (Finance/Banking) (CA/YM)

A company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Credit Associate to join their team in New York, NY. This position is responsible for analyzing credit of US subsidiaries of Japanese and/or Asian companies to prepare credit applications. A bachelor's in finance, Business or Accounting, 5 years of corporate banking experience, proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and the ability to speak, read and write Japanese is required. This is a full-time, hybrid position with excellent benefits, including 401k. Bilingual Japanese/English Credit Associate Duties : -Conduct analysis and research on the performance of borrowers and parents to assess historical performance and future projections, ie. cash flow analysis, risk capital calculations. -Gather support documentation to structure deals, liaise with middle and back office for KYC purposes, and assist in drafting prescreen memos for the Credit Department. -Conduct quarterly and annual reviews of loan portfolio and handle a variety of system and procedural issues related to the borrowers such as internal grading, monthly/quarterly reporting, and other ad hoc projects. -Assist with amendments, new originations, loan closings and funding, and other credit events that may impact the borrower. -Bilingual Japanese/English Credit Associate Skills: -Must have a bachelor’s degree -Must speak, read and write Japanese -Must have 5 years of corporate baking experience -Proficiency in MS Office -Formal credit training preferred ****Activ8 West- Los Angeles (Japanese Recruiting Company) Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc., has been a trusted leader in North American recruiting for Japanese businesses for over 25 years.
