Project Executive | Affordable Housing Construction

Responsibilities: Provide executive oversight across multiple affordable housing rehabilitation projects from preconstruction through closeout. Develop and execute project strategies that align with schedule, budget, quality, and client objectives. Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost control, risk management, and overall financial performance across multiple projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, architects, consultants, and public agencies. Mentor and support Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to drive collaboration and project success. Ensure compliance with all NYC building codes, permitting requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations. Oversee project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project reporting. Drive continuous improvement through best practices, operational efficiencies, and strategic leadership.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 15+ years of construction management experience, including at least 5 years in a Project Executive, Project Director, or similar leadership role. Proven experience delivering large-scale affordable housing, multifamily, or mixed-use rehabilitation projects throughout New York City. Experience managing projects exceeding $100M in value. Strong leadership experience overseeing multiple project teams simultaneously. Deep knowledge of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and construction operations. Experience working with NYC agencies including DOB, HPD, NYCHA, HUD, DOT, and FDNY is highly preferred. Proficiency with Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software.
