Success in this position requires reliability, trustworthiness, and consistent attendance, along with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure. Your Impact as a Maintenance Assistant
In this role, you will:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned
- Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools
- Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order
- Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations and preventative maintenance
- Ensure a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors
- Report and respond to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner

- Has experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers, and emergency generators
- Understands basic principles of preventive maintenance
- Communicates clearly and works well within a team
