Apply for this role →Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)Bel Air, MD | Full-Time or Part-Time$1,000 Sign-On Bonus Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide school-based services to students in the Bel Air/Harford County, MD area for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for a TVI who is passionate about helping students with visual impairments develop the skills they need to succeed academically and independently. We are open to candidates seeking either a full-time or part-time schedule.
Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments in a school-based setting Develop and implement individualized educational strategies based on student needs Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families Support students in accessing and participating in the general education curriculum Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to IEP development and progress monitoring Provide consultation and guidance to school staff regarding accommodations and strategies for students with visual impairments Maintain compliance with school and professional requirements
Qualifications:
Appropriate Maryland certification/licensure as a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI)Experience working with students with visual impairments preferred School-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Why Kelly Pediatric Therapy?
