Here's what you can expect: - Unit Information: - Unit Name: CV Prep - Number of Beds: 17 - Staff Count: 9 - Staffing Breakdown: - Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 8 RNs - Night Shift: None - Patient Ratios: 3:1 - Equipment Used: Dash monitors, EKG machines - Electronic Medical Records: Meditech - Typical Hiring Profile: - Skills Required: - IV Accessing - Cardiac Monitoring - Preferred Skills: - Previous Preop Experience - Prep and/or PACU Experience - Procedures Performed on Unit: - Prepping for cath lab, CVOR, and EP lab - Recovering patients with moderate sedation from labs - Personality Fit: - Close-knit, collaborative team that works well together - Certifications Required: - ACLS - BCLS - Floating Areas: - Tasking in the remainder of the hospital - Work Schedule: - Monday to Friday - 3 shifts of 12 hours - Start times between 5, 6, 7, or 8 AM - No Weekends, No Call!
