Hours per Week: 40 hour/week
Hiring Range: $69,076.80 - $87,793.60 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
  • Assesses a patient's psychological status and provides appropriate interventions and
  • Collaborates with nursing and ancillary service to provide appropriate psychological therapy for patient. Refers patients to other disciplines for consult and evaluations as indicated.
  • Provides psychological expertise and education to multidisciplinary Acts as resource to other disciplines.
  • Communicates complex/sensitive information to patients and medical
  • Administers and interprets psychological tests used for diagnosing mental and personality disorders and differentiating between organic and functional cases of behavior disorders.
  • Complexity of WorkWithin scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Personal Protective Equipment:
  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment asEducationDoctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
  • Licensure / Certification / Registration
  • Required Credential(s): Psychologist credentialed from the New York Board of Psychology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
