Job Description: A day in the life — El Segundo, CAStep onto our production floor and dive into precision work that powers aerospace systems. As an Aerospace Wire Harness Technician, your morning starts by reviewing build packages and blueprints. You’ll route wires, crimp terminals, and lace bundles, then perform meticulous checks so every harness leaving your bench meets demanding aerospace standards. Along the way, you’ll collaborate with teammates, document what you build, and keep your station spotless and safe.
What you’ll do: Build electrical and mechanical harnesses to specification, using drawings and blueprints as your guide. Run in-process and final quality checks to verify safety, reliability, and performance. Operate common assembly tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently and accurately. Partner with peers and leads to streamline steps and boost throughput without sacrificing quality. Maintain an orderly, hazard-free workspace that supports productivity and consistency. Record assembly steps, note discrepancies, and promptly escalate issues to your supervisor. Participate in ongoing training to expand your knowledge of assembly methods and workmanship standards.
What you’ll bring: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in electronics or assembly is a plus. Experience in harness assembly or related electro-mechanical work is beneficial. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely. Comfort with hand tools and assembly equipment. Self-directed work style with strong team collaboration skills. Clear communication and a positive, solutions-first attitude. Curiosity and adaptability to new processes and technologies.
