Travel Registered Nurse OR Job

Responsibilities: Deliver direct perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the OR, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases Assist the surgical team with instrument handling, Counts, sterile technique, room setup, and equipment readiness Monitor patient status, vital signs, and anesthesia-related parameters throughout surgery; respond to changes promptly and communicate with the team Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique, patient safety protocols, and documentation standards Collaborate with anesthesia, circulating nurse, and surgical personnel; support on-call requirements and rapid response scenarios Ensure accurate perioperative documentation and compliance with policy, regulatory, and accreditation standards Requirements Active RN license and appropriate credentialing for the assignment Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience in a surgical specialty BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA) Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, with on-call requirements and holiday coverage Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting 11/16/2026 No local candidates within 50 miles; willingness to travel as a travel RN Benefits and Support Dedicated travel and credentialing support throughout the assignment 24/7 recruiter and support team to assist with housing, credentialing, and logistics Assistance with licensing and compliance processes as needed Access to resources and guidance for relocation and transition into the assignment
