Stainless Tig Welder

TIG Welding Stainless Steel Products This position performs a variety of functions involved with tig welding stainless steel products, with the goal of manufacturing a quality part. Other responsibilities may include other metal shop jobs/functions. Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities Hand welding with TIG operations on 11ga, 14ga, 18ga stainless steel. Use passivation techniques to clean up welds on "A" surfaces Read and understand prints Ensure finished product meets quality expectations Assist in performing unscheduled welding related maintenance tasks as directed. Maintain a clean and organized weld area Use of metal fabrication tools Maintain the company housekeeping standards inside and outside the building. Maintain a safe work area. Organization and cleanliness of the weld cells and consumables Report safety to the appropriate management team member. Performs other related duties as assigned.
