Accounting Supervisor, Property Accounting

Job Responsibilities: Oversee monthly rent payment processing, including common area maintenance, taxes, and insurance charges. Review and validate landlord invoices and rent statements to ensure timely and accurate payments. Manage staff performance evaluations, provide mentorship and training, and participate in hiring decisions. Maintain accurate records of pending liabilities such as CAM reconciliations, additional rent, and utility invoices. Collaborate with finance and real estate teams to ensure proper rent remittance and compliance with lease terms.

Requirements: Strong ability to interpret and analyze lease agreements and related documents. Skilled in performing CAM reconciliations and resolving tenant or landlord account discrepancies. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and customer service skills, maintaining professionalism in all interactions. Proficiency in managing multiple responsibilities while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Previous experience with lease administration or lease accounting systems such as Yardi, MRI, or Lease Harbor. Prior background in commercial real estate, retail, or multi-entity operations. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with other accounting tools.
