Apply for this role →Structural Stick Welder Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Structural Stick Welders for a shop job in Shelbyville, KY. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, and performing welds using Stick welding process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication plans
- Fit and assemble structural steel components according to specifications
- Perform Stick welding to secure assemblies
- Verify measurements, alignments, and tolerances for accuracy
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Structural Welder in the field
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to work overtime and maintain reliable attendance
- Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including drug testing and background check
