Registered Home Care Aide

Responsibilities: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene Provide mobility assistance, including transfers, positioning, and ambulation as needed Assist with meal preparation and feeding Provide medication reminders in accordance with the care plan Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care Offer companionship and emotional support Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or activities as needed Observe and report changes in a client’s condition or behavior Follow individualized care plans and document services provided Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment Communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and other members of the care team

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred Previous caregiving, personal care, home care, or healthcare experience preferred Compassionate, patient, and dependable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow care plans and safety procedures Ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility as required by the position Must meet all applicable background check, training, certification, and state requirements What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and understands that great care goes beyond completing a checklist.
